Neato Charge Base for D3, D4, D5, D6, D7 Robot Vacuums FAQ

Which robot vacuum is this charge base model compatible with?

This Neato charge base is compatible with Neato D3, D4, D5, D6, D7 robot vacuums.

Where should I place the Neato robot’s charge base?

Place the charge base against a wall, near an electrical outlet. The robot needs approximately three feet of open space in front to dock successfully. Make sure you place the charge base in an open area with at least 3 feet of open space available on either side of it. This will help the robot locate and dock with the charge base successfully after a cleaning cycle. Learn more about where should I place the Neato Robot Charge Base

My Neato robot doesn’t always find its charge base. What can I do?

Make sure to remove the protected film cover from the charge base prior to use. If you start a cleaning cycle with the robot from its charge base – or if it passes the base during cleaning – Neato will find the charge base when it needs to recharge or finishes cleaning. If you start the robot away from its base, it identifies the charge base when it passes it during cleaning and will return when complete. If it cannot find the base, it will return to the spot where it started.Learn more about what you can do to help your Neato robot find its charge base

Why can’t my robot get back to its charge base?

When your robot goes about its cleaning and runs low on battery power, it attempts to return to its charge base. Sometimes the robot gets near its base but can’t quite make it all the way back and sometimes it gets lost and can’t find it. If your robot doesn’t get back to base, we recommend you try relocating your charge base as described in this support article.
